City of Espoo office turned a new leaf with INTO the Nordic Silence furniture
INTO the Nordic Silence furniture takes center stage in the new work space of City of Espoo’s group auxiliary staff.
The local government branch of Finland’s second largest city, home to Microsoft, Supercell and Rovio among other leading technology and game developers, transitioned to a new activity-based work environment in late 2014 to create opportunities for flexible work and encourage greater coworking between individual employees and organizational sectors.
The group auxiliary staff’s new office was first introduced on our website when we shared an educational video produced by the City of Espoo. Now, you can see the office in pictures. INTO furniture pieces from modular POINT couches (pictured above) to sound-absorbing CUBE touchdown spaces (pictured below) create a truly pleasant atmosphere for the civil servants to work and relax in.
The concept and interior design of the office is by Gullstén-Inkinen Design & Architecture.
