We will participate in the Wood and Construction Professionals Wood Day event on Friday 2.11.2018 at Helsinki Exhibition Centre Siive (formerly. Meeting room). You can find us at stand 14.
We participate in Wood Day with a plywood surface POD 2 meeting room, which is sound-friendly and ideal for private calls, meetings, negotiations, teamwork and work requiring concentration.
Our range includes ten different POD room sizes to meet different space needs. All our modular PODs can be installed without modification to existing structures or walls, and can be moved from one space to another if required. With the exception of our telephone booths, our POD rooms can also be supplied with a wider door, making them suitable for independent wheelchair users. In line with accessibility requirements, POD rooms can be fitted with a wheelchair ramp and a provision for an automatic door.
INTO POD rooms
Our convertible PODs can be assembled, disassembled and reassembled using only an electric screwdriver and a screwdriver pass. Our POD rooms create no noise, mess or construction waste when installed, allowing the base of the space to be transformed and renovated in a clean and non-disruptive way.
Our acoustic POD rooms do not require connection to the building services, as they come with an independent fan system and LED or pendant lighting. In addition, with the exception of the smallest POD rooms, our POD rooms have floor lamps.
The carpet options in our POD rooms are high quality and hard-wearing. We use sound-insulated laminated glass in the walls of POD rooms to achieve the best possible sound absorption and STI (Speech Transmission Index) values. Read more about the STI value and room acoustics.
Under test conditions, each of our POD rooms has a sound insulation value and sound rating of ”A”. The rating is based on the Finnish SFS 5907 standard.

The height of the POD rooms is 2320 mm. Door widths are 8 x 22 for telephone booths and 9 x 22 for all larger ones.
Our POD rooms, with the exception of our telephone booths, are also available with a wider door, making them suitable for independent wheelchair users.

How to get there: public transport is recommended. Train to Pasila railway station. Railway carriages 7 and 9.
By car: parking is preferably recommended in the Siive car park, located at the end of Ratamestarinkatu. Parking costs €12/day and a ticket can be purchased from a ticket machine.
