The POD wheelchair ramp is an optional extra that makes it easier to access INTO Concept’s soundproofed work and meeting spaces. The ramp lowers the entrance threshold and makes using the POD smoother for wheelchair users and those using other mobility aids.

A ramp is available POD 1-, POD 2-, POD 3-, POD 4- and POD MAX -models.

The wheelchair ramp makes it easier to access the POD and improves its accessibility. It makes entering and leaving the building smoother and enables more independent use in situations where crossing the threshold would otherwise be more difficult.

The ramp has been designed as part of INTO Concept’s range of soundproofed workspaces and meeting rooms, so it blends in with the product’s appearance and does not interfere with the normal use of the POD room.

The POD wheelchair ramp makes it easier to move around in a wheelchair and improves accessibility, but it does not, on its own, make the POD room fully accessible. For example, the dimensions of doorways and other site-specific requirements must be assessed separately in accordance with the applicable accessibility regulations.

If a project is required to be fully accessible, we recommend ensuring that these requirements are met right from the design stage.
