ORGATEC 2026 brought us together with our customers, partners and new contacts in Cologne. The focus of the trade fair was on our new GEN 4.0 POD range and discussions on how work environments can better serve people’s diverse needs.
Thank you to everyone who visited our stand! It was a pleasure to showcase our collection, exchange ideas and discuss future projects.
A familiar design, an even better experience
The GEN 4.0 collection we presented at ORGATEC was received with great enthusiasm. This new generation combines our familiar Nordic design with the privacy of an A-class conference room, updated lighting and more efficient ventilation.
One of the key improvements in the range is its excellent acoustic performance. All our POD models, tested in accordance with the ISO 23351-1:2020 standard, have achieved at least Class A speech privacy. The top models achieve Class A+ with a measured speech attenuation of 35 dB.
The starting point for the development work was to retain the collection’s recognisable, room-like design and to develop features that enhance everyday use. In addition to excellent speech privacy, the following features support everyday work:
- Lighting to support video meetings
- Efficient, adjustable ventilation
- Faster installation
- More extensive editing options
- Integrated wheels for easier movement
The range, which extends from telephone booths to spacious meeting rooms, creates a space for concentration, discussion and collaboration.

Workplace design meets psychology
At the trade fair, we brought together workplace design and psychology in a single discussion at our ‘Beyond the Phone Booth’ event.
Jari Inkinen, lead designer at INTO Concept, and Sandra Gauer, a workplace psychologist, examined what makes people choose a particular space in which to work. Simply providing a variety of spaces is not enough on its own. The sense of privacy, the opportunity to influence one’s own working environment and the working practices of the workplace community also influence how spaces are used.
Jari brought his decades of experience in workplace design to the discussion and explained how lessons learnt from previous POD generations have guided the development of the GEN 4.0 range. Sandra complemented this perspective by discussing human behaviour and the psychological factors that influence the choice of space.
