The story behind the design:
”CUBE was born out of the client's need to create an open space with roominess and peace of mind without having to build traditional rooms. The solution was to design a sofa set with a ceiling and back and side walls to define the space and create a sheltered place to work and talk.
During the project, the fire authority required sprinklering, so an opening was made in the roof to ensure a fire-safe solution. At the same time, it brought natural light and lightness into the space without compromising on acoustics, which made the overall experience more pleasant.
