The story behind the design:
”POD 2 was our first POD room. It was born out of a situation where a large company was renovating its premises and needed the most flexible layout and quiet spaces in places where traditional rooms would have been impossible or very expensive to build.
A key design goal was to make POD feel and look like a real room, not a disconnected element. Lighting played a crucial role in this, as it helps to create a sense of space and a calm atmosphere.
In terms of size, POD 2 was designed as a single-person workstation or for one-to-one meetings. It is finished with the iconic INTO luminaire, whose shape is based on a classic 1950s luminaire and the design tradition of the period.”
