Background

In 2019, Bosch’s head office moved into a new building in Vantaa. The aim was to bring more colour, a cosier atmosphere and practical solutions for working to the two-storey premises.

The large exhibition, meeting and training facilities on the ground floor were designed in line with Bosch’s international brand identity. The workspace on the first floor is an open-plan, multi-purpose office for around 75 employees.

Challenge

Bosch’s new premises required furniture solutions that would support both its prestigious customer and training facilities and day-to-day working in an open-plan, multi-purpose office.

The exhibition, meeting and training facilities on the ground floor were to be in keeping with Bosch’s international brand identity. For the open-plan workspace on the first floor, on the other hand, the aim was to provide colour, a peaceful working environment and support facilities that would allow for privacy, work requiring quiet, small-group meetings, phone calls, meetings and video conferences.

Solution

The following were selected for the Bosch premises INTO the Nordic Silence family of products furniture that promotes a peaceful working environment and creates a cosy atmosphere in a multi-purpose office.

The exhibition, meeting and training rooms on the lower floor were fitted out in muted colours POINT sofas and POINT CUP furniture. They fit in well with the premises’ design, which reflects the Bosch international brand, and support the use of the premises for various meetings, consultations and training sessions.

The following items were brought into the open-plan, multi-purpose office on the second floor POD rooms, which offer privacy and a quiet place to work. They also allow small groups to meet in an environment where quiet is required.

POD PHONE phone booths provide a place to make work-related calls without disturbing colleagues. In the POD ROLL workspace In turn, it is easy to hold, for example, meetings or video conferences.

Results from

With the help of INTO Concept’s furniture, a functional, versatile and relaxed workshop-style environment was created at Bosch’s head office. The furniture brings a sense of calm, colour and comfort to the spaces, whilst supporting a variety of working scenarios across two floors.

The lower floor POINT sofas and POINT CUP furniture complement the brand-consistent look of the exhibition, meeting and training facilities. On the second floor POD PHONE phone booths and POD ROLL workspace offer peace and quiet, privacy and flexible support spaces for everyday needs within an open-plan, multi-purpose office.

The end result was a working environment in which INTO Concept’s furniture fits in naturally and which caters for work, meetings and quieter work situations alike.
