Background
The law firm White & Case moved into new premises in a prestigious building in Helsinki. At the start of the project, the firm’s objectives and corporate culture were analysed, and White & Case had a clear vision of the premises and its space requirements.
The architectural and interior design of the space was carried out by Interior designers Gullstén-Inkinen Oy.
Challenge
White & Case wanted high-quality office premises with effective sound insulation and good acoustics. In addition, the premises needed a well-equipped conference centre that could also be used by clients.
The aim was to create office space that meets the needs of a law firm both functionally and technically. At the same time, the intention was to preserve the building’s distinctive character as part of the overall look and feel of the premises.
Solution
Thanks to the solutions offered by the INTO the Nordic Silence product range, the spaces were transformed into versatile and acoustically friendly environments. The break room was furnished with ergonomic POINT sofas, which work well together TOP tables together. Together, they provide a space for both dining and comfortable working.
The backrests of the POINT sofas are designed with a slight slant, and the seats are well-structured and provide sufficient support even for working for several hours. The seat height of the sofas corresponds to the standard seat height of office chairs. Without castors, the seat height is 47 cm; with castors, it is 48 cm.
Electrical sockets have been fitted to the sofas to make it easy to charge electronic devices. The blue tones of the sofas bring a sense of calm to the space and encourage creative work.
Stylish grey POINT sofas were chosen for the meeting rooms; they add a touch of softness to the space and improve the acoustics. The gas-lift, adjustable TOP tables serve as handy side tables. Despite their sleek appearance, the TOP tables are sturdy, and their tops are large enough for computer work.
